Mexican Pottery

The terracotta clay base is fired in traditional brick kilns at temperatures reaching 2,012º degrees Fahrenheit. Decorative paint finishes are applied by hand using a sponge and or brush. The different shades and colors are applied individually. The finishing touches include a varnish topcoat on the outside as well as a waterproof coating inside the container.
